In January of 2019, members of the Bourbon High School staff realized that a group of students were facing challenges without support. Many teens are living on their own, responsible for food, shelter and basic needs. Things others take for granted, such as clean clothes, hot meals, and basic necessities are often a daily struggle. The intent of the Caring Closet is to help these students by providing a variety of daily resources to make the day-to-day living easier.
